This alarm clock wakes you up gradually to the sound off birds singing, so much nicer than a loud BLEEP.

Produces good clean light – at highest setting is very bright which is great for the morning. Radio is excellent quality. In total makes waking up/getting up much easier and more civillised in the mornings.

What a change to the start of the day

Previously – getting woken up with a start by a clock radio bursting into life at 6.30.

Now – 6.00 the light starts to glow – by 6.10 become aware of the light which gently wakes you up, doze back off to sleep, then at 6.30 radio switches on at lowest volume and builds to the volume you’ve set over a period of 90 seconds.By the time the radio is up to volume – you’re fully awake in a bedroom full of light (if you set the light to the max).

Excellent product, sound quality of radio is fine. If you don’t want to be startled awake in the morning get one of these!

Good product. Works as stated. My only concern is the fact that the bulb is not user replaceable and has to be sent back to a service centre for replacement. This fact was not apparent when the order was placed. Apart from that the unit seems to work fine and speed of delivery was first rate.

Philips Wake-up light does what it says – a good comprehensive product but weak documentation. To set it up you ideally need to be a computer programmer, or have access to a knowledgeable teenager! And access to a table of the exact frequencies of the FM Station you need (and a few pre-sets to give a selection choice would be helpful).
